Centerpieces...
So, if you've read my blog before then I'm sure that you would have seen the pictures of the centerpieces I came across and loved near the bottom... Well, last night I put together a sample centerpiece that is just a little bit different but also very similar to the ones I found online... and I love them! I think they came out perfect! And they are definitely going to be affordable as well!

Booked the Church!
Well, we booked the church today! :) We're getting married on Saturday, September 10th 2011 [9.10.11] at 3:00pm. The ceremony will take place at St. Ninian's Cathedral.

Random Ideas
Umbreallas
Since we'll be getting married in September, and it very well could rain, I was thinking it would be nice if everyone in the Wedding Party had matching umbrellas... and I bet it would look pretty cool in a photo op. I'm thinking red would be the best color for them, but I'm not sure yet.

White table cloths with alternating red and black runners down the rows.

The Wishing Tree
So, I'm sure some of you wont know what a wishing tree is... I had no idea until recently either. The basic principle is for guests to leave their well-wishes for the couple on small hang tags that they fill out and then hang on the “tree” using the tags provided. They can sign their name then write well wishes, advice on being married, draw a little picture... basically anything they want. Then when all is said and done we'll take the card off of the wishing tree and put them in our Wedding Book. :)
Here is a little poem that I like that we would put at the base of the tree to explain the concept.
